Both are respirator masks , but the difference is that N95 masks are US standard for respirator masks (Certification/ Class (Standard) United States NIOSH-42CFR84) and KN95 are the Chinese standard for respirator masks  (Certification/ Class (Standard) China GB2626-2006)

Even though they both appear to be alike there is some difference appearances aside,
*the US standard American manufactured N95 masks  can in fact withhold more pressure than the later when person wearing it breaths .
Lets list details and differences between them according to 3m standards. 

Total inward leakage (TIL) - N95 = nil , KN95 = ≤ 8% leakage .
Inhalation resistance -  N95 = ≤ 343 Pa , KN95 = ≤ 350 Pa.
Exhalation resistance - N95  = ≤ 245 Pa , KN95 = ≤ 250 Pa .
Exhalation valve leakage -   N95 =  ≤ 30 mL/min , KN95 =  0 Pa ≥ 20 sec .
Force applied - N95 = -245 Pa , KN95 =  -1180 Pa .

*N95 masks, which filter at least 95 percent of particles that are 0.3 microns and larger
