N95 facemask and KN95 facemask Both are  respirator  masks , but the difference is that N95 masks are US standard for  respirator  masks  (Certification/ Class (Standard) United States NIOSH-42CFR84)   and KN95 are the Chinese standard for  respirator  masks  (Certification/ Class (Standard) China GB2626-2006) .  So  What's The Difference ? Search Results Web results Even though they both appear to be alike there is some difference  appearances aside, * the  US standard  American manufactured N95 masks  can in fact withhold more pressure than the later when person wearing it breaths . Lets list details and differences between them according to 3m standards.  Total inward leakage (TIL) -  N95 = nil ,  KN95 = ≤ 8% leakage . Inhalation resistance -   N95  = ≤ 343 Pa , KN95 = ≤ 350 Pa. Exhalation resistance -  N95   = ≤ 245 Pa , KN95 = ≤ 250 Pa . Exhalation valve leakage -    N95  =  ≤ 30 mL/min , KN95 =  0 Pa ≥ 20 sec . Force applied -  N95  = -245 Pa , KN95 =  -1180 Pa . *N95 masks,

Gas leak poses no risk to public health -- KOC

KUWAIT, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Board Chairman and Managing Director of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Sami Al-Rashid said Wednesday evening there is no hazard to public health from the gas leak which resulted from a drilling operation in north Kuwait earlier today. "The concentration of hydrogen sulfide gas in the leakage is too low to cause any harm. Only a high concentration of this gas could pose risk to health," Al-Rashid said in statements to KUNA. "KOC's technical teams are trying to burn the hydrogen sulfide emitting from the oil well to prevent the gas from mixing with the air pursuant to the safety regulations," he pointed out. While residents of the nearby Al-Rawdatain neighborhood are evacuated as a precaution, other teams from KOC were deployed in several parts of the country to detect the concentration rate of the gas, he added. Al-Rashid made the comments to allay the concerns about the strange smell which spread in the country this afte

Kuwait Gas leak Al-Rawdatain

A gas leak took place while drilling an oil well wednesday at the Al-Rawdhatain oilfield, as that the pungent and repulsive smell of hydrogen sulfide reached as far as Kuwaiti City and can feel the smell in ahmadi also. low-level exposure may result in fatigue , loss of appetite, headaches , irritability, poor memory, and dizziness . Hydrogen sulfide ( British English : hydrogen sulphide ) is the chemical compound with the formula H 2 S . It is a colorless, very poisonous, flammable gas with the characteristic foul odor of rotten eggs . Hydrogen sulfide is a highly toxic and flammable gas ( flammable range : 4.3–46%). Being heavier than air, it tends to accumulate at the bottom of poorly ventilated spaces. Although very pungent at first, it quickly deadens the sense of smell, so potential victims may be unaware of its presence until it is too late.
